Indian cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin is not getting tickets for the opening match of IPL 2024. The first match of the season is to be played between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore on March 22 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Ashwin himself plays for Rajasthan Royals but he is looking for tickets for the opening match for his children.

Ashwin has appealed to CSK management on social media for tickets. Ashwin's family lives in Chennai. He wrote in a social media post that there is a lot of demand for tickets for this match. My children want to watch the opening ceremony and the match.

IPL tickets are available online from Monday. Tickets for the first match started being available at 8 am on Monday. But the tickets were sold out within no time. Ashwin's family also could not buy tickets from the app. After which Ashwin had to request CSK management.

CSK has to play four matches in the announced schedule of the first part of IPL. In which two matches are to be played at home ground Chepauk. Not only the tickets for the matches played in Chepauk in Chennai but also the tickets for the matches played by CSK at other places have been sold. 'Coming Sun' is written on the front of the tickets for these matches.

The first match of Chennai Super Kings is to be played on 22 March against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Chennai itself. Whereas the second match is against Gujarat Titans on March 26 in Chepauk itself. CSK has to play its third match against Delhi Capitals in Visakhapatnam on March 31 and fourth match against Sunrajers Hyderabad on April 5 in Hyderabad.

Guidelines regarding Paytm Insider tickets

According to the guidelines of Paytm Insider, you can buy 2 to 10 tickets at a time. Any person above 2 years of age can buy a ticket.

Tickets cost Rs 1700 to Rs 7500 in Chepauk.
Every franchise has the right to decide the tickets for the matches taking place at its home ground. The lowest ticket for the matches to be held in Chepauk, Chennai is Rs 1700, while the maximum ticket price has been fixed at Rs 7500.
