1. Recruitment for 4016 posts in UPSSSC
Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has issued a notification for recruitment to the posts of Junior Engineer Civil. Online applications for this recruitment will be started from 7th May 2024. Candidates will be able to fill the application form by visiting the official website upsssc.gov.in.

2. Recruitment in RSMSSB
Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSMSSB) has issued a notification for recruitment to more than 5 thousand posts in various departments and offices of the Rajasthan Government. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website before March 20.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have passed 12th examination and Common Eligibility (Senior Secondary) examination.

Age Range :

Between 18 and 40 years. According to government rules, age relaxation of 5 to 10 years will be given.

Salary:

As per Pay Matrix Level – 5.

1. Sanjay Mukherjee becomes the new DGP of West Bengal: On March 19, the Election Commission appointed IPS Sanjay Mukherjee as the new Director General of Police (DGP) of West Bengal. A day earlier, the Commission had removed West Bengal DGP Rajeev Kumar and Home Secretaries of 6 states from their posts.

Sanjay Mukherjee has worked as ADG Security in West Bengal.

Sanjay Mukherjee is a 1989 batch IPS officer and till now was handling the responsibility of the fire department. Sanjay was appointed as the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Chief in November 2017.

2. India ranks third in terms of bad air: On March 19, Swiss organization IQ Air's World Air Quality Report 2023 was released. According to this report, India will be the third worst air country in the world in 2023. Delhi was the capital with the most polluted air in the world.

According to this report, Bangladesh was the country with the worst air in the world. Pakistan stood second in this list of 134 countries.

3. Governor C.P. New responsibility to Radhakrishnan: On March 19, President Draupadi Murmu met Jharkhand Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan was given the additional responsibility of Governor of Telangana and Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry. The post was vacant after the resignation of former Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan.

C.P. Radhakrishnan will hold charge in Telangana-Puducherry till regular appointments are made.

C.P. Radhakrishnan was born on 4 May 1957 in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu. He is the 10th and current Governor of Jharkhand since 2023. Radhakrishnan was elected to the Lok Sabha twice from Coimbatore.

4. Made the world's longest dosa: On March 16, MTR Food Company in Bengaluru in collaboration with Lorman Kitchen Equipments created a Guinness World Record for making the world's longest dosa measuring 123 feet long. The previous record was about 54 feet, which was set in 2014.

More than 75 chefs have made this dosa together.

This dosa has been made on the completion of 100 years of MTR. To make this, a 123 feet long pan was set at a specific temperature.

1. Final results of SBI PO-2023 released
State Bank of India has released the final result of SBI PO-2023. Candidates can check their result by visiting sbi.co.in. There is recruitment for more than 2000 posts of PO in SBI. Last year, SBI PO Prelims exam was held on 1st, 2nd and 6th November. After the Mains exam, psychometric test and interview of the candidates was taken.

2. Registration starts for INI CET 2024
Registrations for the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test have started. The last date to register for INI CET-2024 is 12th April. This exam is to be held on 19th May. Candidates who have done courses like MBBS, MD, MS, DM or BDS can register for this exam.
