RCB did unbox event in Bengaluru: New jersey and logo launched, Virat said – this year is a new chapter of RCB

All RCB players participated in the event.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)'s Unbox event ahead of IPL 2024 was held on Tuesday, March 19, at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. In this event, RCB's new jersey, new logo and new name – 'Royal Challengers Bangalore' were released. Bangalore was changed to Bengaluru in the name.

Famous EDM music producer and DJ Alan Walker also performed at the event. Apart from him, many other artists including star Raghu Dixit, Neeti Mohan, Brotha V, Jordanian attended the event.

During the event, Virat Kohli said in Kannada, 'Idu RCB ya Hosa Adhyaya' which means that a new chapter of RCB has started this year.

RCB released the new logo on Twitter.

Kohli, Plessis and Mandhana launched jerseys
Kohli launched the new jersey with RCB women's team captain Smriti Mandhana and men's team captain Faf du Plessis. According to the franchise, the new jersey represents a connection and philosophy with the fans.

I will never leave RCB- Kohli
Virat Kohli said at the event, as everyone knows, I will always be here, trying to be a part of the group that wins the IPL for the first time. I will try my best for the fans, for the franchise. It's kind of been a dream of mine for many years, to know what it feels like to win the IPL.

Vinay Kumar included in RCB Hall of Fame
Former India fast bowler and RCB star R Vinay Kumar was inducted into the RCB Hall of Fame along with AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle. Vinay Kumar is the third highest wicket taker of RCB.

Vinay Kumar took 105 wickets in total 105 matches in IPL. He played his last season in 2018.

Men's team gave guard of honor to women's team
In the presence of Virat Kohli, the RCB men's team gave a guard of honor to the women's team. All the players encouraged captain Smriti Mandhana and the rest of her team amidst enthusiasm, hooting and applause.

The RCB franchise won a domestic league for the first time in the year 2024.
