In view of the Lok Sabha elections in Etah, the police has started a campaign to arrest the absconding accused. Under this campaign, more than 200 absconding warrantees have been arrested and sent to jail. On Thursday itself, Kotwali Nagar Police arrested one accused who was wanted in a case of raping a minor.

As part of the arrest campaign, the police arrested a person wanted under POCSO Act.
