IPL 2024 Updates: Bumrah joins Mumbai camp; Tanush Kotian joins Rajasthan team in place of Jampa

India's star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah on Friday joined the practice camp of Mumbai Indians (MI) ahead of the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Bumrah could not play the entire tournament in IPL 2023 due to a back stress injury.

On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals have announced the replacement of spinner Adam Zampa. Tanush Kotian has been included in the team in place of Jampa.

Bumrah joins Mumbai team
Bumrah joined the Mumbai Indians team on Friday. The star pacer joined the Mumbai team in the 2013 season of the tournament. He took 145 wickets in 120 matches at an economy rate of 7.4. Mumbai official social media handle informed about Bumrah's joining the team.

Rajasthan included Tanush in the team
Adam Zampa of Rajasthan Royals is out of the current season of the league due to personal reasons. Rajasthan has included Tanush Kotian in the team in place of Jampa. Tanush has a good record in domestic matches.

Tanush has been a part of the Ranji Trophy champion Mumbai team. Tanush has been bought by Rajasthan Royals with a base price of Rs 20 lakh. Tanush has taken 24 wickets in 23 T-20 matches. He has taken 20 wickets in 19 List A matches. Tanush has taken 75 wickets in first class matches. Along with this, 1152 runs have also been scored.

Sharat in place of Minj in Rajasthan team
Gujarat Titans player Robin Minz is out of the tournament due to an accident. The team has given a chance to BR Sharath in his place. Sharath plays for Karnataka in domestic cricket. He is a wicketkeeper batsman. Sharath has scored 328 runs in 28 T20 matches. He has scored 732 runs in 43 List A matches. During this period he has also scored four half-centuries. He has been bought by Gujarat Titans for Rs 20 lakh.
