In view of the Lok Sabha elections, Moradabad DM Manvendra Singh has canceled Holi holiday in the district. The DM has said in his order that, in view of the Lok Sabha general elections, the local holiday of Holi on March 26 has been cancelled. Instead, the DM has declared a local holiday on Narak Chaturdashi on 30 October 2024.
