In view of the increasing air pollution day by day in Gorakhpur, the Municipal Corporation has established an air purifier unit at Shastri Chowk. It has been installed under the National Clean Air Program NCAP. Earlier, this unit has also been installed on the roof of Municipal Corporation Campus and Madan Mohan Malviya Technological University.
