Notification for Lok Sabha General Election-2024 has been issued by the Election Commission of India on 16 March. In this sequence, Model Code of Conduct has been implemented in the district. An order has been issued to reserve 5000 liters of diesel and 1000 liters of petrol at each diesel/petrol pump in the district with immediate effect for fueling heavy/light vehicles related to election work for the Lok Sabha elections in the district.

This reserved quantity is kept equally in the stock of the pump.
