Three beams of the bridge under construction on river Ganga in Bulandshahr suddenly collapsed. People allege that substandard material was being used in the bridge. Due to which the beams of the bridge fell. It was fortunate that no one was present at the spot at the time of the accident, otherwise a major disaster would have happened. The accident took place in Mali Ki Madaiya village of Uncha village development block of Sayana tehsil area. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has also attacked the government by posting the video of the fallen bridge on X.

It is being told that Mali's Madaiya village was constructed at a cost of Rs 83 crore.
