In Katarniaghat of Bahraich, chain link fencing is being installed in the villages on the banks of the forest to prevent the encroachment of wild animals. The village head and villagers have stopped the work being done in Bardiya village of Katarniaghat range. Bardiya village is adjacent to the forest, where the fencing work started.

Village head Shyamlal started the excavation work with JCB on Friday.
