Parties that talk about women empowerment avoid giving tickets to women in the Lok Sabha elections from Bulandshahr Lok Sabha seat. No political party fielded a woman candidate here in the 2019 and 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Former CM Mayawati contested the Lok Sabha elections from Bulandshahr on BSP ticket in 1991 and stood fourth.
Along with Mayawati, other women also contested Lok Sabha election from Bulandshahr.
