Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the result of class 10 board exam i.e. matriculation. BSEB Chairman Anand Kishore announced the results during a press conference in Patna.
Students can check their results by visiting the official website of Bihar Board results.biharboardonline.com.
These exams were held between 15 and 23 February this year. In these exams, 50% questions were MCQ and 50% questions were subjective type.
Mark sheets will be received from schools, if you score 300/500 you will get first division.
After the result is declared, the marksheet will be sent to the schools. Students will be able to collect their original mark sheets from the school. In the marksheet, you will be able to see the marks scored in each subject and total score along with the personal details of the student. Students scoring 300 out of total 500 marks will be considered passed in first division.
More than 16 lakh students had registered for matriculation exam.
This year a total of 16,94,781 students had registered for the BSEB matriculation exam. In 2023, 16,10,657 students had given the 10th board exam. Of these, 13,05,203 candidates had passed the exam. Of these, 6,61,570 were boys and 6,43,633 girls passed the exam. The overall passing percentage in 2023 was 81.04.
Topper scored 97.9% marks in 2023
Last year, Mohammad Yuman Ashraf had topped the matriculation exam with 97.9% score. He had scored 479 marks out of 500. Whereas, Giani Anupama and Namrata Kumari were at second position. After this, Sanju Kumari, Bhavana Kumari, Jaynandan Kumar Pandit were at third rank.
Last year there were a total of 21 students in the top 5 ranks. Of these, 10 were girls.
Students up to top 10 rank get cash prize, laptop
Last year, cash prizes were also given to the top rankers. First rank got Rs 1 lakh along with 1 laptop and 1 Kindle e-book reader. The second rank holder was given Rs 75,000 along with 1 laptop and 1 Kindle e-book reader. The third rank holder was given Rs 50,000 along with 1 laptop and Kindle e-book reader.
At the same time, cash prize of Rs 10,000, 1 laptop and Kindle e-book reader was given to 4th to 10th rank.
