Rashid Khan took a flying catch: Travis Head was bowled on Noor Ahmed's googly, Miller hit the winning six; top moments

In the first match of the double header in the Indian Premier League-2024 on Sunday, Gujarat Titans (GT) defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 7 wickets in the 12th match of the current season. In the first match on Sunday in Ahmedabad, Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and elected to bat, Gujarat batsmen achieved the target of 163 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs with the loss of 3 wickets in 19.1 overs.

Rashid Khan took a brilliant catch to send back Aiden Markram. The South African player was playing on 17 runs off 18 balls and he decided to play a big shot to reduce the pressure on him.

However, he could not make good contact with the ball and had to pay a heavy price for it. Aiden Markram hit a big shot on the fourth ball of the 15th over bowled by experienced fast bowler Umesh Yadav. He played a chip shot towards long-on.

Rashid Khan, who was fielding, came running and completed a flying catch. The ball came at a height but Rashid Khan did brilliantly in catching the ball.

2. Noor Ahmed bowled Travis Head with a googly.
Noor, playing his first match of this season, dismissed Travis Head by bowling a googly. Opening the batting along with Mayank Agarwal, Head gave SRH a flying start through some swashbuckling shots.

However, Afghan spinner Noor Ahmed came in the 7th over and took a big wicket for the Titans. Afghanistan's wrist spinner beautifully dismissed the Australian left-hander. Noor bowled a googly, which went inwards after being pitched at full length. The batsman went for a slog sweep on the leg side field, but saw the ball hit the stumps.

3. Umesh Yadav dropped the catch of Samad
Umesh Yadav dropped the catch of Abdul Samad in the 19th over of SRH's innings. Darshan Nalkande bowled a slower ball on the second ball of the over. On this, Samad played a big shot towards midwicket. Umesh, who was fielding there, came under the ball, but the ball slipped from both his hands and Samad got a lease of life.

In SRH's innings, Gujarat bowler Rashid Khan clean bowled Classen. At this, Clason got angry and punched the bat. In the 14th over, after the timeout, Rashid Khan bowled a flatter ball. In the 18th over of Gujarat's innings, Vijay Shankar's ball hit Unadkat's helmet. Unadkat bowled a slow bouncer to Shankar on the fourth ball of the over. Shankar could not time it and the ball went straight to his helmet. The ball hit his helmet and went towards third man. However, Shankar was not injured.

6. David Miller won the match by hitting a six
Gujarat Titans' middle order batsman David Miller won the match by hitting a six. Gujarat needed one run in the last over to win. Unadkat came to bowl. On the very first ball of the over, Miller hit a six over long off and gave Gujarat victory.
