RD Complex located in Sector 3 of Awas Vikas Colony belongs to Rajni Agarwal. Rajni lives in Jaipur House. Jalsa runs a bar in the same complex. The complex has shops on the lower two floors. There are 27 flats on the top three floors. He has given shops and flats on rent. The goods of Etawah's bakery operator Avneesh are kept in flat number 106 of the same complex. Avneesh's bakery is in this complex. Younger brother Akash and boys also live in the same flat. Avneesh told that at around 5:30 in the evening he had left his flat and gone to the market to buy bakery items. After some time he got a call that there was a fire inside the flat.
