Lucknow Super Giants registered their second win of the IPL 2024 season with a 28-run triumph over the Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Tuesday.

LSG openers Quinton de Kock and KL Rahul got off to a splendid start, notching up a quick 50-run partnership within the first five overs (BCCI)

But, in a flurry, wickets started to tumble, as RCB picked off at the top order and put pressure on LSG (BCCI)

But, de Kock remained unfazed and with the help of a quickfire knock from Marcus Stoinis, helped LSG keep the scoreboard ticking (BCCI)

de Kock masterfully played his way to a fantastic innings of 81 runs before finally being dismissed by Reece Topley (BCCI)

But, Nicholas Pooran came in for the last hit of adrenaline, as the Windies batter scorched RCB bowlers for sixes galore and helped set a formidable total of 181 in 20 overs (BCCI)

RCB got off to a fairly decent start as well, with Orange Cap holder Virat Kohli looking in top form and du Plessis adding quick runs as well (BCCI)

But, it would all come to a halt as fiery Mayank Yadav ripped through RCB’s batters to scalp three and bowl a magical spell of 3-14 in 4 overs (BCCI)

RCB’s Rajat Patidar and Mahipal Lomror tried to put up a fight and pus hard for a scrappy win, but fell victim to a well-rounded bowling performance from LSG (BCCI)

Finally, it was Naveen Ul-Haq who clinched the last wicket with two balls remaining to help LSG secure a comfortable 28-run win (BCCI)
