All these smugglers were driving cows and buffaloes from Pratappur area of ​​Chhattisgarh to the slaughterhouse in Jharkhand. On Monday night, traffic in-charge Balrampur Vimlesh Dewangan received information from the informer that cattle smugglers were taking the cattle to Jharkhand on foot from Pratappur Doomar Khola. Based on the information, the traffic in-charge along with the staff reached village Champapur Pathri and laid siege to the possible route by laying ambush with the police force.

Meanwhile, cattle smugglers were taking buffaloes on foot from Doomar Khola.
