Connection of 'Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan' with Amitabh-Govinda's film!: Director Ali Abbas Zafar said – Producer Vashu Bhagnani had suggested the title.

Director Ali Abbas Zafar's next film is 'Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan' which is to be released on April 10. In 1998, a comedy film starring Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda with the same title was also released.

In a recent interview, Ali told why he retained the title of this 26 year old classic comedy film for his action film.

Amitabh and Govinda starrer 'Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan', released in 1998, was produced by Jackky Bhagnani's father Vashu Bhagnani.

Ali said- there is a connection between both the films
In an interview to India Today, Ali said, 'There is a connection between both the films which we have shown in our film. So when you watch this film in the theatre, you will know why we have titled it 'Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan'.

Jackie had given the offer by calling: Ali
Ali further told that producer Jackky Bhagnani had called him and offered him to direct this film. Ali said- 'I was shooting in Abu Dhabi and Jackky Bhagnani called me and said, imagine how it would be if we bring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff together for an action film? I felt that this is like a dream combination for any action film lover.

'Changes in the script according to the title'
Ali said- 'A week after this conversation, Jackie called me again and said that it is my father's (Vashu Bhagnani) dream that we should call this film 'Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan'. Later we also made changes in the script according to this title. So now when you watch the film, you will understand why it was given this title.

Katrina could not do the film due to commitments
In an interview, Ali told why he did not cast actress Katrina Kaif in this film like most of his films. Ali said, 'Katrina is usually a part of every film of mine. Whenever I make a film without her, she calls me and directly asks why I didn't cast her?

As far as BMCM is concerned, she could not work in it due to her other commitments. But I hope she will keep her dates free for my next film.

Ali and Katrina have so far worked together on 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan', 'Tiger Zinda Hai' and 'Bharat'.

Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manushi Chhillar and Alaya F starrer 'Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan' will be released in theaters on Eid. This film will clash with Ajay Devgan starrer 'Maidan'.
