Veteran filmmaker, director and cinematographer Gangu Ramsay has passed away. 83 year old Gangu Ramsay was ill for the last one month. He was undergoing treatment at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai for a month. Gangu Ramsay was a part of the Ramsay Brothers, who were famous for horror films.
The news of Gangu Ramsay's demise has been confirmed by his family through an official statement. The family wrote in the statement, “It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of the Ramsay Brothers, legendary cinematographer, filmmaker, producer and F.U. Ramsay's second elder son Gangu Ramsay has passed away. Gangu Ramsay, who was suffering from health related problems for the last one month, left us today at 8 am.
Let us tell you that Gangu Ramsay was a part of the popular Ramsay Brothers team. Gangu was the second elder brother among 7 brothers Kumar Ramsay, Keshu Ramsay, Tulsi Ramsay, Kiran Ramsay, Shyam Ramsay, Gangu Ramsay, Arjun Ramsay. All these famous filmmakers F.U. He was the son of Ramsay. The name of their team was Ramsay Brothers, who used to make films together. In the team, the eldest brother Kumar Ramsay worked on the script, Gangu did cinematography, Kiran Ramsay did sound, Keshu did production and Arjun did editing, while Shyam-Tulsi together held the command of direction.
