Instructions to provide better education from the new session: Focus on all round development of students, DG School Education gave instructions

After the start of the new academic session in Primary, Upper Primary Composite and Kasturba Gandhi Girls Schools, the Director General of Schools has issued new guidelines for all the schools. A circular in this regard has also been issued by Director General of School Education Kanchan Verma on Tuesday in the name of principals of all district education and training institutes and all basic education officers across the state. It states that daily and weekly teaching plans should be implemented effectively. Besides, teaching should be done through educational materials like printed material, big books, picture story cards, posters, conversation charts, library books, TLM, maths kit, educational videos and projectors. Apart from this, teaching work should be done as per the guidelines issued for Science and English developed for remedial teaching for classes 6, 7 and 8. Focus on practice. Along with this, children should be made to practice as per the workbooks. A functional library or reading corner should be operated regularly in schools. Children should be assessed through tables. Regular and 100% attendance of children should be ensured and effective communication should be established with parents regarding their level.
