India can play the semi-finals of T20 World Cup in Guyana: Decision taken due to India friendly timing of the match, reserve day will not be available.

The second semi-final will be held at 8 pm according to Indian timing.

If the Indian team reaches the semi-finals of the upcoming T-20 World Cup 2024, it will play the second semi-final in Guyana on June 27. According to news agency PTI, due to the timing of the match, ICC has given India the slot for the semi-finals to be held in Guyana.

The first semi-final in Trinidad will be played on June 26 at 8:30 pm local time, while in India it will be played on June 27 at 6 am. At the same time, the second semi-final will start at 10.30 am in Guyana, which will start at 8 pm in India. At the same time, the final will be played in Bridgetown, Barbados on June 29 at 10 am local time, which will be at 7.30 pm in India.

There will be no reserve day in the second semi-final
There will be no reserve day for the second semi-final. Instead, 250 minutes of extra time will be given for the match. Whereas, for the first semi-final and final, there will be an extra time of 190 minutes as well as a reserve day.

Extra time has been added in Semi-Final 2 because there is no slot for any reserve day in the tournament schedule, there is only a gap of one day between the second semi-final and the final. Each chasing team will need to play at least 10 overs to declare a winner in both the semi-finals and final of the match.

Opening match will be between Canada and America
This time the T-20 World Cup will be played in West Indies and America from June 2 to 29. The opening match of the tournament will be held between Canada and home team America in Dallas. The final match will be held on June 29 in Barbados city of West Indies. Super-8 and knockout matches will be held in West Indies. The top-4 teams of Super-8 will enter the semi-finals.

Group stage matches in the T-20 World Cup will be held from June 2 to 17. Super-8 stage matches will be held from June 19 to 24. Then the knockout stage will start from June 26.

Team India will face Pakistan on June 9
Team India will play its first match against Ireland on June 5. The team’s second match will be against Pakistan on June 9, the third match will be against America on June 12 and the fourth match will be against Canada on June 15.
