Tips from CBSE 10th, 12th top scorers: Complete tough chapters first; Focused on self study instead of coaching

On Monday, May 13, CBSE has released the 10th-12th board results. The board has not released any merit list nor announced the name of any topper. This initiative of the board is to eliminate unhealthy competition.
Dainik Bhaskar spoke to some students who appeared for CBSE board exams and scored well in all subjects. How the students motivated themselves and kept themselves fully prepared for the competition.
Yamini Yadav topped class 10th
Yamini is a student of Ryan International School, Bhopal. He has scored 97% in CBSE 10th. He has got 99 marks in Sanskrit. Has 98 marks in Maths. Got 94 marks in Science, 95 in English and 95 in SST.
Yamini shared her success tips
I am studying in this school from the beginning i.e. from KG-1. My parents have always supported me. I have always received good guidance from school. I have relied only on school studies and did not join any kind of coaching institute. Apart from school notes, I used to do self-study.
Taim table always comes in handy
I didn’t have any fixed routine like that. But I had made a time table for the exam. It is beneficial to follow the time table for the exam. After normal school timings, I used to study only for three-four hours daily from 3 to 6 pm.
Watched YouTube when concept was not clear
School notes and studies have always been useful to me. But sometimes when I did not understand any equation or concept, I used to watch it on YouTube.
Consistency is very important
I have prepared completely for the exam from school notes only. I think consistency is very important for studies and I have maintained it since the beginning, due to which I did not face any problem in any subject.
Highest score in Sanskrit, Maths
I have the highest score in Sanskrit and Maths. I think both the subjects are such that if you understand then you can score full marks. I got full support from teachers and parents, due to which I was able to score well. I will take PCS in 11th and prepare for NEET. Going forward I want to become a doctor. My dream is to study in AIIMS.
Ashu Devnath’s 12th In highest score
Ashu Devnath has 96% score in science stream. Ashu is a student of Ryan International School, Bhopal. He has got 99 marks in Maths. He got 95 marks in Physics, 90 in English, 97 in Computer and 98 in Chemistry.

The syllabus had already been completed in my school. We just had to revise it. Because of this it became easier for me to read. I read the easy chapters later. Completed the tough syllabus first.
Notes by making Preparation
I studied by making notes. Because of this I did not face any kind of problem. I prepared for the exam by making a routine. But there was no fixed time. I have revised from the notes made in school only.

Whatever is taught in school, I have studied it completely but sometimes when there was confusion in some chapter, I took the help of online classes. Although I have never chosen any one platform for that. I studied from the channel on which I felt I could understand.
Software Engineer to become wants Am
I want to become a software engineer. I don’t think that I should go to IIT. Not sure yet whether to study from IIT or not.
The principal said that this is the result of a year’s hard work.
