In Sambhal, a speeding Ertiga vehicle hit an e-rickshaw rider. The e-rickshaw driver died in the accident. On receiving information about the incident, the police arrived, took possession of the body and sent it to the PM. The deceased was going to Chandausi with vegetables.

The entire matter is near the bypass link road located on Chandausi Road in Sambhal. At 3 am on Monday morning, Roop Kishore, son of Mahesh, resident of village Kamalpur Sarai of Hayatnagar police station area, was going to Chandausi in his e-rickshaw after filling vegetables from the farm, when a high-speed Ertiga vehicle going from Sambhal hit him from the side. E-rickshaw driver Roop Kishore died on the spot in a road accident.
The driver ran away leaving the car
Police arrived and brought the youth to the District Joint Hospital, where the doctor declared him dead. The police took the body of the deceased in their custody and sent it to the PM on Panchnama. After the incident, the Ertiga driver abandoned the vehicle and fled from the spot. The police have taken the Ertiga vehicle into their custody and started legal action. Mother Savitri, elder brothers Munesh and Omkar are in bad condition due to crying. Inspector Pawan Kumar Singh said that the body has been sent to the PM.

The Ertiga vehicle also got damaged after hitting the e-rickshaw.
The e-rickshaw was badly damaged in the collision with the Ertiga car.
