Mira Kapoor Casts Her First Vote In Mumbai: ‘Our Country, Our Pride, Our Vote’ – News18

As part of the fifth phase of the Lok Sabha elections, Mumbai went to polls on Monday. Several Bollywood stars including Farhan Akhtar, Rajkummar Rao, Janhvi Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Sunil Shetty, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone flocked to cast their votes. Mira Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor’s beloved wife, also joined in to exercise her democratic right. The fashionista, after casting her vote, posted a selfie on her Instagram handle with a message for all the Mumbaikars.

In her story, Mira flaunted her inked finger after casting vote in Mumbai. It was the first time when she exercised her right to vote in the city. Dressed in a simple ivory kurta with minimal accessories including pearl-encrusted earrings and diamond rings, Mira looked as pretty as ever. Her cute smile further enhanced the captivating element of the picture.

Mira also had an important message for her Instagram family. She accompanied the cute selfie with a note which read, “Every vote counts! My first vote in Mumbai. Super smooth and seamlessly organised. Our country, our pride, our vote.”

Earlier this morning, Mira Kapoor’s husband and Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor also dropped a selfie on his Instagram handle. He sported a grey T-shirt in the picture and showcased his inked finger with a message for his fans. With his sunglasses on, the actor exuded hotness as he urged his fans to exercise their democratic duty. He wrote, “Cast your votes. Every vote matters.”

Besides, parents-to-be Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh also arrived to cast their votes. Twinning in white shirts and denim pants, the duo gave some major couple goals. What stole the limelight was Deepika’s cute baby bump. As she headed towards her car, the doting husband Ranveer made sure that she got a comfortable passage. Being the dedicated husband he is, the actor even opened the gate for his mom-to-be wifey.
