30 percent increase in patients in OPD.
At least 8 to 10% of these patients have suffered from heatstroke. Medical College Professor Dr. JS Kushwaha said that due to extreme heat, the number of patients has increased significantly in the last one week.
Symptoms are pain in legs, excessive thirst
Dr. Kushwaha told that initially people feel pain in their legs and are more thirsty. Weakness is felt in the body. Such people should immediately become alert and take care of themselves. A little carelessness can turn into heat stroke. If heat stroke occurs, it becomes difficult to save the patient’s life.
body temperature reaches 105
Dr. Kushwaha said that when a person suffers from heatstroke, his body temperature directly reaches 105-106 degrees, which directly affects the brain. At such times, the patient has to be applied cold water or bathed with ice water or kept in an AC room.
Risks like stroke increase due to lack of water in the body.
