Voting for Lok Sabha elections ends in Lucknow and Mohanlalganj. EVM reached strong room in Lucknow: The curtains of the tent in Ramabai ground got torn due to late evening storm – Lucknow News


Voting took place in Lucknow and Mohanlalganj on Monday in the fifth phase of the Lok Sabha elections. 52.23% voters voted in Lucknow Lok Sabha constituency and 62.72% in Mohanlalganj. After the voting ended at 6 pm, polling parties started reaching the Ramabai Maidan premises by 7 pm.

The curtains of the tent for the tables set up in Ramabai ground were torn.

The voting process continued till 6 pm at the booths of all the assembly constituencies of Lucknow district. After the end of voting, the process of reaching the strong room of polling parties started from seven o’clock. The process of matching and placing the machines is going on.

Election office officials were also present on the spot. The machines were deposited on the tables made assembly wise. Now these machines will be under strict surveillance. These will be taken out on June 4, the day of counting. Election results will come on this day. There were 10 candidates in the fray from Lucknow Lok Sabha constituency and 11 from Mohanlalganj.
