A woman died under suspicious circumstances after being shot in Kanpur. When the family members took him to Hallett Hospital, the police came to know about the matter. The family members had told the doctors that the death was due to being hit by a bar, but when the team of doctors investigated, they found no gunshot.

After this the police and forensic team reached the house to investigate. At present, the police are investigating the case by registering a report under the Unlawful Murder and Illegal Arms Act.

Sanjay Yadav, originally a resident of Jaunpur and a resident of Hiraganj Badriprasad of Sisamau, is an electrical mechanic. Sanjay has been living in his in-laws’ house with his wife Manish (35), son Akritik and daughter Ritika for the last 10 years.

On Monday morning, Sanjay along with his brother-in-law Vishal reached LLR (Hallet) Hospital with Manisha. During this time, when the doctors asked, he told that he had been injured, saying that he kept hiding the incident. When the doctors present in the emergency of LLR Hospital investigated, it turned out to be a gun shot case and Manisha died. The police informed the police when the family members lied.

As soon as information about the case was received, Sisamau police reached Halat to investigate. During interrogation, the family members told that in the morning Manisha was getting her hair cleaned with her younger sister Kajal.

As soon as Kajal threw down some junk in her bag, suddenly there was an explosion and Manish fell down drenched in blood. The incident created chaos. To escape from the police, the family members had lied to the doctors in Halat.

DCP Central RS Gautam said that an FIR has been registered in the case under sections of culpable homicide not amounting to murder and the Illegal Arms Act. The entire incident will be revealed soon after completing the investigation.

Police and forensics found important evidence, post mortem will be conducted tomorrow

DCP Central said that the entire incident is under suspicion in the preliminary investigation. The woman died after being shot in the navel. If the bullet is fired after falling on the ground, then the possibility of the bullet being hit in the stomach is less.

The brother has been detained for questioning. The forensic team found blood and other evidence in the house during the investigation. Police have also recovered the pistol. Soon the entire incident will be revealed and the accused will be sent to jail.
