ICAI releases CA September exam schedule: Application starts from 7th July for Intermediate and 28th July for Foundation, late fee of Rs 600

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the schedule of CA Foundation, Intermediate September exam. The application process for CA Foundation will start from July 28 and for CA Intermediate from July 7. Applications for both the exams will be taken online.

Last date to apply for foundation is 10th August
The last date for applying without late fees for both the exams is different. The last date to apply for CA Foundation exam is 10th August and 20th July for CA Intermediate. Whereas, the last date of application with late fee of Rs 600 is 13th August and 23rd July respectively.

Foundation’s correction window will open on August 14
The correction window of application for CA Foundation exam will be open from August 14 to August 16. Whereas, CA Intermediate exam will remain open till 24th July and 26th July.

According to the official notification, no extra time will be given to read the objective question paper.

Intermediate exam starts from 12th September and foundation exam from 13th.
As per the ICAI schedule, ICAI CA Foundation Exam 2024 will be conducted on September 13, 15, 18 and 20 under Regulation 25 F of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988.
Also, as per the syllabus announced through the council under Regulation 28 F of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, the ICAI CA Intermediate Exam 2024 is scheduled to be held between September 12 to September 23.

There will be no change in exam date now
According to ICAI notification, even if a holiday is declared on any exam date by the Central Government, State Government or local bodies, no change will be made in the exam date.

Exams will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm
Foundation Course Examination: Examinations for all papers except Paper 3 and Paper 4 will be conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm.
