Loco pilot Virendra Kumar Sharma, who was injured in a collision with a truck near Khorhansa market of Gonda, has died during treatment in the district hospital. After receiving the information, Dehat Kotwali police reached the spot, took the body of the loco pilot from the district hospital and informed the family about the matter.

Virendra Kumar Sharma (57), resident of Giluva village of Mankapur area, was going to Gonda railway station for duty by bike at 10:00 am today. As soon as they reached Khorhansa market on Gonda-Ayodhya road, a truck coming from behind from Mankapur hit them hard. Due to which he was seriously injured. Who were taken to the district hospital of Gonda through ambulance for treatment. Where he died late in the evening during treatment. As soon as information about the incident was received, there was chaos in the entire village. The family members are in bad condition and crying.
Police is investigating
Additional Superintendent of Police East Manoj Kumar Rawat said that the loco pilot has died in a road accident. The body has been taken into custody by the police and sent for postmortem. Information about the case has been given to the family members. Further investigation is being done by the police.
