Preparations for Border 2 begin: Shooting of the film will start from October, Sunny Deol, Ayushmann Khurrana are in the star cast.

Preparations for the sequel of the 1997 all-time blockbuster film Border have begun. Along with Sunny Deol, Ayushmann Khurrana is also going to play the lead role in this film. Now the makers are going to start shooting this film soon.

In a recent Pinkvilla report, a source related to the film development has been quoted as saying that the shooting of Border 2 is going to start from October. The team associated with the film Border was busy in all the preparations related to the film for a long time. The team is working day and night to match the magnitude of the first film Border. Now that the preparations related to the film are almost complete, the makers will soon start shooting for the film.

Border 2 was to be made in 2015

Some time back, the film’s lead actor Sunny Deol had told in an interview to Ranveer Allahabadia that Border 2 was earlier being made in 2015. He said, I myself had heard that Border 2 is being made. We were supposed to start it way back in 2015. But then my films started flopping and people got scared of making those films. Now everyone wants to make films.

Let us tell you that Border 2 is going to be directed and produced by J.P. Dutta, who also directed 1997’s Border. Bhushan Kumar and J.P. Dutta’s daughter Nidhi Dutta are also producing the film. Ayushmann Khurrana will also be seen in the lead role along with Sunny Deol in the film. Sunny Deol will be seen in the role of Major Kuldeep in this film. The film will be released on the occasion of Republic Day in the year 2026.

Talking about Sunny Deol’s films, his last film was Gadar 2, which was a superhit at the box office. Soon he will be seen in Lahore 1947, Baap, Surya and Apne 2. The film Border was released in 1997. Made for Rs 10 crore, this film collected Rs 65 crore. This was the biggest film of that year.
