These players won the first day’s match
In the first day’s matches, matches of 57-60 kg weight category were played in the quarter finals of Youth Boys category. Sahil Kumar of KD Singh defeated Saksham Singh, Shivansh Lodhi of Sarojininagar Boxing Academy (SNBA) defeated Parth Rastogi and Piyush Sharma of Kids Fits Sports Zone (KFSZ) defeated Ritesh Kumar Pal of CFG.
Whereas, in the quarter finals of 63.5-67 kg weight category, KD Singh’s Amit Kumar Yadav defeated KD Singh’s Shikhar Maurya, KD Singh’s Jitendra P Singh defeated Himanshu, CFG’s Syed Mohammad Arsh defeated CFG’s Shrevem Sharma and 54 In -57 kg, Sudhanshu Pal of Champions Boxing Academy (CBA) defeated Pranshu Sharma of CBA.
These players won in junior boys category
The 54-57 kg match was played in the quarter finals of the junior boys category. Vivek Kumar Yadav of Modern Academy defeated Abhishek Gupta of Modern Academy, Rudra Mishra of CBA defeated Mohammad Murtaza Ali of Lucknow Boxing Club (LBC).
A match of 42-44 kg was played in the quarter finals of sub junior boys category. In this, Vansh Kumar of CBA defeated Aarav Baliyan of Modern Academy, Gaurav of St. Mary defeated Shreyash Shukla of KD Singh, in 38-40 kg Yashdeep Singh of KD Singh defeated Ansh Kashyap of KD Singh and in 40-42 kg Modern Academy’s Swarit Mishra defeated Ansh Gupta.
In the quarter finals of Mini Sub Junior Boys category in 36-38 kg, Pranjal Joshi of Modern Academy defeated Naitik Kumar.
KD Match played at Singh Babu Stadium
The tournament is being played in the newly constructed boxing hall of KD Singh Babu Stadium. The competition has been organized in coordination with Boxing Association Lucknow and Regional Sports Office Lucknow. Chief guest Dr. Anandeshwar Pandey, General Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Olympic Association inaugurated it. The chief guest was welcomed by Boxing Association Lucknow President Atul Agnihotri and Secretary Sahdev Singh.
On this occasion, Boxing Association Lucknow Chairman Deepak Sharma, Organizing Secretary Pramod Srivastava, Organizing Chairman RC Verma (social worker), Vice President Manoj Patel, Ishendra Pandey, Dinesh Tekriwal and others were present.
