Villagers from half a dozen villages in Kasganj surrounded the power house located at Hodalpur in Soron over the problem of electricity not coming on time. The villagers raised slogans loudly. On receiving information about the villagers’ protest, SDO Pankaj Kumar reached the spot, where the villagers greeted him.

People are very troubled due to the scorching heat these days in Kasganj and due to power cut in the district, anger is also being seen among the people at many places. On Wednesday, villagers of about half a dozen villages of development block Soron area reached the power house located at Hodalpur in Soron regarding the problem of power supply cut, where the villagers surrounded the power house.

Slogans were raised loudly regarding power cut. As soon as the information about the villagers’ protest was received, SDO Pankaj Kumar of the Electricity Department reached the power house, where he pacified the protesting villagers and then listened to their problems. The villagers alleged that there are continuous power cuts in their villages Kunwar Pur, Kripal Nagla, Muhim Nagar, Madho Nagra, Naugma, Bohre Nagla. Officials have assured a solution.
