In her address, Mayawati tried to attract minority votes. Mayawati said – We took a decision from Ambedkar Nagar to field candidates from the Muslim community and took the decision that maximum Muslim community should get an opportunity to contest the elections. He said that the corruption spread at every level in the country has not ended yet. We must stop Congress-BJP and their allies from coming to power at the Centre.
Reservation quota has not been reached yet
Like the earlier Congress government at the Centre, the present BJP government has not been able to bring about development in the entire country, especially the Dalits, the poor, Muslims etc., due to its casteist, inferiorist, communal and capitalist thinking.
The reservation quota for Dalits, tribals and other backward classes in government jobs in the entire country, which remained incomplete for years, has not been filled completely yet. Especially the reservation for SC/ST in promotion in government jobs has now been made largely ineffective.
