A warrant was issued against him from the court of ADJ Pancham of Katni, Madhya Pradesh. On the basis of this warrant, Ramjanmabhoomi police station in-charge Devendra Pandey caught Kisso and handed him over to Madhya Pradesh Police. At the time of his arrest, he was accompanied by three adult girls whom he had brought to see Ramlala.
