In Matera area of Bahraich district, fearless robbers riding a bike looted sixty thousand rupees in broad daylight from a woman who was returning home after withdrawing money from the bank near the police post. The incident near the post created panic in the police department. SP Rural reached the spot and investigated the incident.

The woman was walking home with her bag
Chanda, a resident of Ekgharwa village, has an account in Lalpur Shivpur branch of Indian Bank located at Matera Chauraha. On Monday afternoon, the woman withdrew 60 thousand rupees from her account. After this, the woman took her bag and left for home on foot. As soon as the woman reached Matera Chowki, two people on a bike snatched her bag and fled. The woman raised an alarm. People nearby reached the spot. The police were informed about the incident.
ASP gave instructions to disclose the incident soon
On receiving information about the robbery, Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural), Dr. Pavitra Mohan Tripathi, CO Rahul Pandey, SHO Parmanand Tiwari, SOG in-charge Anuj Kumar Tripathi reached the spot and investigated. After this, the ASP directed the SHO to solve the case soon.
