This caused a stampede among the guards and workers. The police reached the spot and tried to calm the situation by talking to the management and the family members. But no conclusion could be reached in the case. The police is continuously talking to the manager and the contractor.

Rekha (35), a resident of Narsinghpur village of Asoha police station area, worked as a laborer in the university under construction on the Nawabganj highway. Last evening, she was going home after finishing work. While crossing the road on the highway, Aditya (20) son of Ravi Prakash, a bike rider from Jaitpur village of Ajgain police station area, hit the female laborer Rekha and injured her. After the accident, the family took her to CHC and district hospital and then to a private hospital for treatment, where she died late at night.

The family members reached the university gate with the dead body along with many people and entered the gate while creating a ruckus regarding compensation, which caused a stampede among the employees. On getting the information, the inspector reached the spot with the force and tried to talk to the responsible people to calm the matter, but could not talk. On talking to the University Plant Manager Jagroop Singh, he said that the information about compensation has been given to the higher officials. No reply has come yet. Inspector Avnish Singh said that the deceased Rekha used to work through contractor Rishi. The university has nothing to do with it. The contractor has been called.
