The religious beliefs of Bada Mangal are connected to the Hanuman temple of Lucknow. The trend is that people make a wish and when it is fulfilled, they serve a feast. This trend is increasing every year. People themselves are also taking care that the plates and glasses of the feast do not get scattered on the road. That is why dustbins and baskets have been kept.

A feast was organized at Bajrang Kutiya located at Dayal Farm in Lucknow.

Adityapati Tripathi, president of Bajrang Kutiya Organizing Committee at Dayal Farm, says that they have been organizing this bhandaar for the last 10 years. Earlier, gram, batasha and cold water were given. But with time the menu kept on increasing. Every year donations are collected, people from the society come forward. Therefore, the scale of the bhandaar has kept on increasing.

Ram Adhar Singh of the organizing committee said- Where Hanuman temples are bustling with activity, those organising the Bhandara are also excited. Look, Hanuman temples are decorated today. People are visiting. Fairs are being organised outside the temples. People are reaching there with their children. Devotion to Hanumanji is definitely visible in every movement. People themselves want to come forward and help in the Bhandara. Some do this due to belief, some have religious reasons.
