Police arrived after receiving information about the teenager’s suicide.
In Firozabad, on Tuesday, a quarrel broke out between brother and sister over watching the favourite TV channel. After this, the teenager committed suicide by hanging himself. Police reached the spot after getting the information and sent the body of the teenager for postmortem and started investigating the case.

Darshan Singh, a resident of Kanshiram Colony Banna, lives on the first floor of the colony. He also has a house on the ground floor. In the morning he went to work as usual. His wife and two children Kanha and Radhika were at home. At around 3:30 in the afternoon, his 13-year-old son Kanha and 10-year-old daughter Radhika were watching TV. Both the children had an argument over watching cartoon and other channels. When Radhika did not switch on Kanha’s favourite channel, cartoon channel, he got angry and left saying that he would never come again. He did not return home after that.
When Kanha did not return home for a long time, the family members searched for him but he was nowhere to be found. When Darshan Singh returned at 6 in the evening, he was again being searched for. Meanwhile, when Radhika reached the ground floor house, she started screaming. When the family members reached the spot, they saw that Kanha’s body was hanging from the swing in the room. He had committed suicide by making a noose of the swing’s rope.

Inspector Anuj Kumar said that the teenager, upset at not being able to watch his favourite TV channel, committed suicide by hanging himself. The body has been sent for postmortem.
