When the staff misled the AD Health, he was reprimanded: When the generator was found switched off in Badaun, the night shelter was locked for months
The effect of heatwave in Badaun is increasing day by day. Patients admitted in the district hospital are also falling prey to it, the reason being that the separate feeder here has been closed for a week and the generator does not work. In view of these complaints, AD Health Dr. Pushpa Pant inspected the district hospital on Tuesday. During this, she found many shortcomings. Instructions to remove them have been given in writing to CMS Dr. Captain Singh. AD Health reached the district hospital on Tuesday afternoon. Here she inspected various departments including emergency, heat stroke ward, blood bank, operation theater. During this, AD found the plaster of many walls of the hospital missing. There was no electricity in many departments including the wards. On asking, it was found that the generator is not of full capacity. There is a generator of only 64 KVA capacity which can run only X-ray, ultrasound and pathology lab. Apart from this, it gets damaged when load is put on it. The lie exposed on the night shelter AD found the night shelter closed. When asked, the staff lied that they get it opened at night and it is found closed during the day but when it was opened, so much dirt and dust was found that it seemed as if it had been closed for a long time. Here the lie of the hospital staff was caught. Since CMS Dr. Captain Singh has gone to Lucknow for training, some special representatives of the staff were hell-bent on misleading the AD but here also the truth came out. In such a situation, the AD directed the CMS to get the arrangements in the night shelter improved as soon as possible. The arrangements will be improved in three days. The AD told that the CMS has gone to Lucknow for training. However, he has been instructed to get the arrangements improved. The arrangements should be improved in three days, so that the patients and their attendants get convenience and there is a decline in the cases of heat stroke.
