On the application of the defence in the case of throwing the body of a protester in the Ganges canal in Muzaffarnagar, the court agreed to call the under-training sub-inspector, son of the deceased policeman, for testimony. At the same time, in the case of showing fake recovery of weapons, the court agreed to call the under-training sub-inspector, son of the deceased policeman, for testimony.

Thousands of agitators left for Delhi from Dehradun demanding the formation of a separate state of Uttarakhand. Advocate Anurag Verma, on behalf of Uttarakhand Sangharsh Samiti, said that on the night of October 1, 1994, the vehicles of the agitators were stopped at Rampur Tiraha in Chhapar police station area. There was a clash between the police and the agitators at around 1 o’clock in the night.

During this period, seven agitators were killed in police firing, while it is alleged that several women agitators were raped and molested. The CBI investigated the cases and submitted a charge sheet in the court. The trial of the incident is going on in the Additional Civil Judge Senior Division I.

An application was given to call the son
On Tuesday, an application was filed by senior defense lawyer Surendra Sharma to present a witness in the CBI vs SP Mishra case related to the body of the agitator being thrown into the canal. He said that an application was filed on his behalf to call Ajay, son of deceased policeman Sanjay, to the court for testimony, which was accepted by the court.

In both cases, the date of 31 May has been fixed
Earlier, a petition was filed by the defence side requesting discharge of the accused in the CBI vs Brajkishore case related to fake recovery of weapons from the agitators. Which was rejected by the court. Advocate Surendra Sharma told that another petition has been filed by him in the court in the CBI vs Brajkishore case that section 182 IPC should be removed. The court will hear it. The court has fixed May 31 as the date of hearing in both the cases.
