A sensation spread when a woman’s half-burnt body was found lying on the border of Hardoi-Lucknow district in Atrauli police station area in Hardoi. On getting information about the incident, Additional Superintendent of Police East reached the spot. The forensic team also reached the spot and collected necessary samples. It is believed that the murder was committed.

On Thursday evening, some people saw a half-burnt body of a woman lying on the roadside in Atrauli police station area before Katiyar Farm on the Pawayan-Gahdo road on the border of Hardoi-Lucknow district. A sack was also lying near the body. The nearby roadside shed was also burnt due to the fire. Police reached the spot on the information of the villagers.
Inspector in-charge Dilesh Kumar Singh gathered information about the dead body, but no clue was found. Earlier, the police of Rahimabad and Mal police station of Lucknow district also went to the spot, but went back as the incident spot was in Atrauli police station area.
On learning about the incident, Additional Superintendent of Police Eastern Nripendra reached the spot and inspected the scene of the incident. Along with questioning the villagers, police officers of Lucknow district also inquired about the incident. CO Shilpa Kumari also reached the spot and took information from the villagers. Additional Superintendent of Police Eastern Nripendra said that the incident is being investigated. Efforts are being made to identify the bodies.
