Police said that Arjun Yadav of Trilokpur village of Mohanlalganj fell in love with Savitri of the same village 13 years ago. Both of them got married and had 2 sons. 4 years ago, after a dispute with Arjun and Savitri, they started living separately. Both the sons also lived with Savitri.

During this time Arjun fell in love with his sister-in-law Javitri. A few days ago Arjun came to know that Javitri loves someone else. Both of them were angry about this. Javitri even stopped picking up her brother-in-law’s phone.

Arjun reached his in-laws’ house at 9.30 pm on Wednesday. He started fighting with his family members. He attacked his sister-in-law with a stick. She put her hands forward to save herself. All the five fingers of her hand were cut. She fell there and became unconscious.

The family members say that Arjun escaped from there. The family members informed Dial-112 about this. The police admitted the girl to the hospital. Meanwhile, the police started searching for him. On Thursday morning, Arjun’s body was found hanging from a tree near the pond in the village.

On the other hand, the deceased’s younger brother Ankush alleges that Arjun’s wife and her siblings killed Arjun and are portraying the incident as a suicide. Ankush has demanded strict action against the accused.

Inspector Alok Rao said that the case appears to be of suicide after an attack in a love affair. Investigation is underway.
