In Ambedkar Nagar, transformers are being protected from heating by pouring water on them to ensure power supply amid the intense heat. In Tanda Electricity Substation Kalesar, water is being poured on the transformer to cool down the transformer which is getting heated due to the intense heat.

Due to the ever increasing heat, the electrical equipment has also started to fail. The transformers installed at the power substation have also started to overheat. Due to which transformers have started burning at many places. The electricity department is adopting many tricks to keep the power system running smoothly. In some places coolers are being arranged to keep the transformers cool, while many other methods are being adopted.

Amidst all this, in Kalesar of Tanda sub-station, the transformer which is getting heated due to extreme heat is being cooled by pouring water on it. The video of which is going viral on social media. There are two 5 MB and one 3 MBA transformers at Kalesar sub-station. Junior engineer Ramesh Yadav of Kalesar sub-station said that the transformers have started getting heated due to extreme heat. He said that after the temperature of the transformer reaches 60 degrees Celsius, it is cooled.
