A sugarcane field in Barabanki suddenly caught fire. The inspector who walked about 1 kilometer to extinguish the fire suffered heat stroke. He fell unconscious. His fellow workers admitted him to the Community Health Center Ramnagar. Here the doctors started first aid.

A sudden fire broke out in the sugarcane field of Pappu Singh, a resident of village Pandit Purwa Majra Kumharwa of the police station area. Information about this was given to 112 PRV and fire brigade. 55-year-old Anil Kumar Shukla, inspector of 112, went to extinguish the fire along with constable Kamlesh Maurya and driver Santosh Kumar Mishra. As there was no way to reach the sugarcane field, all the workers reached on foot for 1 kilometer in the scorching sun. The fire was controlled with the help of the villagers.
The inspector died during treatment in the hospital.
While returning, the inspector’s condition started getting serious. He started vomiting, due to which he fell unconscious. Fellow police personnel brought him to the hospital. Seeing his condition deteriorating, the doctors referred him to the district hospital. On getting the information, SSI Chandrahas Mishra reached CHC. Due to high fever, the 112 PRV jawan was not able to eat properly for several days.
