In September 1844, New York’s Manhattan Cricket Stadium was packed with people. The match lasted three days and Canada defeated the US by 23 runs.

After 180 years, both the teams will face each other again in the cricket stadium of Dallas. That time it was the international debut of both the teams and now it is the T20 World Cup debut. After playing for Canada for 10 years, Nitish started playing in the minor league of America in 2021. In 2024, he made his debut for America against Canada. By playing a half-century inning in his debut match, he helped America win the series 4-0.
