CBI has once again knocked on the door of Gorakhpur. The CBI team reached Gorakhpur on Saturday to investigate the scams in the NE Railway store. The team raided the houses of two store officers and four employees and searched the files.

After this, CBI picked up these employees one by one and came to the store office and got the cabins opened and searched the files. For now, the CBI team remained present in the railway store till late night and kept searching the files. The team also detained another employee from his house and questioned him. However, he was released late at night.

CBI has arrested PCCM
CBI has already arrested the Chief Material Manager, head of the stores department of the railways, in a corruption case and sent him to jail. The team of the Special Chief Vigilance Team of the Railway Board has also raided the store depot. The team had taken action after investigating complaints of irregularities in the purchase and sale of goods in the store and rigging in the examination for promotion to the post of JE.

There was a complaint of fraud with the Railway Board
Actually, a complaint was made to the Railway Board that there has been manipulation in local purchases in the NE Railway store. A company has been given special benefits in the supply of medicines. Along with this, a large crane has been shown as unusable and a private crane has been used for work. Along with this, a complaint of dealings has also been made in the examination for JE in the railways.

In this case, the officer here, Rituraj, has also been transferred. Before coming to Gorakhpur, the CBI team also went to Fazilnagar in Kushinagar. Where the officer raided Rituraj’s house and searched the necessary documents.

It is being told that the CBI team raided the house of a railway officer resident of Patkhauli on Saturday. After searching the house of the railway officer for about six hours, the team quietly left and refused to tell anything to the media. Rituraj Singh, a resident of Patkhauli village of Pateharwa police station area, is a class one rank officer in the railways. He is currently posted in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Earlier, he has worked as Divisional Deputy General Manager in Gorakhpur Railway.

Information about Rituraj Singh was obtained from the villagers
On Saturday at 7 am, the officers of the CBI team reached his native place Patkhauli in an Innova car. The villagers thought that they must be election related officers. The team members called a person present in the village and started taking information about Rituraj Singh. He told that we know him as DRM sahab. He rarely comes to the village. He always stays outside. Apart from this, the villagers have no information about him.

CBI searched the officer’s house for 6 hours
After this, when the investigation team members asked, he told them the address of his house. After this, slowly the people of the village came to know that these were not election related officers but some investigation team. After this, this team of five officers entered his house. After this, various parts of the house were searched for about 6 hours. During the search, only his old mother was in the house. The rest of the members were out of the house. After searching for about 6 hours, they returned.
