Former president of Meerut Bar Association and senior advocate Mahavir Tyagi passed away today at 10 am. All the advocates are mourning his death. Mahavir Tyagi was 72 years old. His fellow advocates said that he was suffering from lung cancer for a long time. The cause of which was his liver cancer.

Mahavir Tyagi is originally a resident of Jailchungi. He has left behind his wife, 2 sons and 1 daughter. All three children are married. All three children are settled.
