Inspire tourists to stay in Prayagraj
Commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant said that Maha Kumbh is a big cultural event of the world and Prayagraj is the biggest pilgrimage site in the world. Various religious and spiritual places are being developed by the tourism department. There are many beautiful places in the district about which most people are not aware. By promoting them, more number of tourists can be attracted. We should try that the tourists who come stay for two to three days and visit as many places as possible.
Special Secretary Tourism Isha Priya shed light on the preparations for the Maha Kumbh as well as the tourist spots of the state. She said that in Uttar Pradesh there are unlimited possibilities of religious, spiritual as well as heritage, rural agri, medical tourism, adventure tourism which are being worked upon to bring to reality.
So that devotees keep coming to Prayagraj all the time
Kumbh Mela Adhikari Vijay Kiran Anand said that efforts are being made to ensure that a large number of tourists come to Prayagraj not only during Kumbh or Mahakumbh but all the time. He presented the blueprint of preparations for the Mahakumbh. He said that Prayagraj should be linked with the tour packages of Ayodhya and Kashi. Prayagraj is called Teerthraj. There are important cultural, historical, religious and spiritual places here. These places are being developed by the Tourism Department. Along with this, tourist facilities are also being developed. Rail, road and air connectivity is good.
Shringaverpur is being developed as a tourist village
We are developing Shringaverpur as a tourist village. Regional Tourism Officer Aparajita Singh gave detailed information about the work being done by the Tourism Department in Prayagraj. She said that we are continuously working to increase the number of tourists in Prayagraj.
