At this time, the work of Ganga Expressway is going on in Unnao. Sun God is also showing his wrath in Navtaap. Hundreds of farmers sat on a dharna in the scorching heat with their demands. Due to the heat, the health of many farmers is also deteriorating. In which the condition of one farmer is critical.

Due to the district administration not listening to the villagers for a long time in village Mattukheda Rahimabad of Safipur tehsil area regarding the construction work of Ganga Expressway, the villagers reached Ganga Expressway and sat on a dharna by putting up tents. The villagers said that now until our demands are not met by the district administration, we will not leave the dharna nor will we allow any vehicle to pass from here. The district administration was made aware of our problems several times by giving applications, but till date no solution to our problem has been found by the district administration. Due to which now this dharna will continue until the problem of us villagers is not solved.
An application was given to the DM
The villagers say that the Ganga Expressway passes through their village. Due to which about two hundred bighas of agricultural land of the villagers has gone to the south where there is no way left to go. Due to lack of road, the land is getting ruined. We all had informed the DM about this by giving an application. If a small culvert and a paved road is not made to go to the fields, then a kutcha road should be made. So that farming can be done, but till now no action has been taken on this and neither the problem has been solved. The villagers say that till our problem is not solved, till then we will continue this dharna like this.
