Although the police started taking action by registering a case on the basis of the complaint, people were still angry. The police got the teenager’s body post-mortem done and handed it over to the family. The family agreed to the last rites after a lot of persuasion by the administration. The funeral procession of the teenager was taken out from Ismailpur village in a sad atmosphere and the last rites were performed amid tight security at Panchal Ghat in the neighboring district Farrukhabad.

Let us tell you that on the evening of 30th May, Yuvraj Singh alias UV Thakur, son of Sanjay Singh, resident of village Ismailpur, was shot dead by his companions near the under-construction police post in Mohalla Birhana of Pali town. The police got the post-mortem done and handed over the body to the family. After a lot of persuasion by the senior officials, the family agreed to the last rites, after which the funeral procession was taken out amid tight security and Yuvraj’s body was cremated at Panchal Ghat in the neighboring district Farrukhabad. His family is very sad due to the death of their only son.
