Poonam lives in Sainikpuram, Agra. She told that she had bought 703 square meter land in Kundaul from Kapil Kumar. Now land mafia wants to capture this land. A young man named Bhupendra Singh called her and threatened her, claiming to be a Lekhpal. The Commissioner has ordered to investigate and submit a report within 10 days.

Cricketer Poonam Yadav told Dainik Bhaskar that she spent her entire life’s earnings to buy this land. She bought the land for about Rs 1.25 crore 2 years ago. Now suddenly the price of that land has increased and some people want to occupy it.
A complaint was made to Commissioner Ritu Maheshwari, but no action was taken by her. Due to this, the spirits of the land mafia including the regional lekhpal increased. 2 days ago suddenly a call came from the Naib Tehsildar and Lekhpal to come to get the land measured. She was in Kanpur.
On May 31, a notice dated May 29 reached her house. She was asked to be available for land measurement on May 30. She alleges that the people of the tehsil are supporting the land mafia in occupying her land. Her pleas are not being heard anywhere. She is very scared.

Land mafias are threatening on phone
Poonam Yadav has given a written complaint to Commissioner Ritu Maheshwari that she had bought 703 square meter land from Kapil Kumar in Kundaul. Its mutation has been done in the revenue records. The Lekhpal gave possession on 12 May 2022. A lot of development has taken place near her land now.
Land mafias are active with the intention of occupying the land. They are threatening him over the phone to vacate the land. He received a call on 9 February 2024. The caller introduced himself as regional lekhpal Bhupendra Singh.
He said- This land belongs to Kapil Agarwal. Vacate it, otherwise it will be vacated forcibly. Commissioner Ritu Maheshwari has ordered SDM Sadar to investigate the matter. A report has been called in 10 days.
